  1. Provide legal support and guidance to the Lyft Business and Healthcare divisions.
  2. Advise on a wide range of legal matters, including product development, commercial agreements, and regulatory compliance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify legal risks and develop solutions to mitigate them.
  4. Conduct legal research and stay current on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  5. Review and negotiate contracts, partnerships, and other business agreements.
  6. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide practical legal advice.
  7. Manage and maintain relationships with external legal counsel when necessary.
  8. Develop and implement company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
  9. Assess potential legal risks and provide proactive recommendations to mitigate them.
  10. Represent the company in negotiations and business meetings with external partners.
  11. Participate in the development and implementation of training programs for employees on legal matters.
  12. Keep accurate and organized records of all legal documents and contracts.
  13. Provide support for any legal disputes or claims that may arise.
  14. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of the legal department.
  15. Uphold a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions and decisions.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Admission To Practice Law In The State Of California

  • 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Law Firm Or In-House Legal Department, Preferably In The Areas Of Product And Commercial Law

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Laws And Regulations, Particularly In The Ride-Sharing Industry

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With A Track Record Of Successfully Structuring And Negotiating Complex Commercial Agreements.
