  1. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to provide guidance and support to the company in matters related to litigation and risk.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to minimize potential legal risks and liabilities for the company.
  3. Monitor and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments that may impact the company's operations.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams, to identify and assess potential legal risks and provide proactive solutions.
  5. Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation, including reviewing and drafting legal documents, communicating with outside counsel, and providing guidance to internal teams.
  6. Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
  7. Conduct internal investigations as needed and make recommendations to management on how to address any potential issues.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and other relevant parties.
  9. Communicate legal advice and updates to various departments within the company, including training and education programs to promote legal awareness and compliance.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized legal records and documentation.
  11. Participate in negotiations and settlements to resolve legal disputes in the best interest of the company.
  12. Stay current with changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company and provide guidance to ensure compliance.
  13. Proactively identify potential legal issues and provide solutions to mitigate risks.
  14. Assist with other legal matters and projects as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • Active Membership In Good Standing With The State Bar Association.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Litigation And Risk Management, Preferably In A Corporate Or In-House Counsel Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws Related To Transportation, Employment, And Contract Law.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Resolve Complex Legal Matters.
