Job Description

Lucky Supermarkets is searching for an experienced and reliable Transportation Coordinator to join our team and help ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products to our customers. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills, an eye for detail, and experience in the logistics and transportation industry. Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and coordinate the transportation of goods from suppliers to our customers.
  2. Monitor and manage transportation schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
  3. Track and communicate delivery status to customers and internal stakeholders.
  4. Develop and implement logistics plans to ensure efficient transportation of products.
  5. Manage inventory and ensure accurate recordkeeping related to shipments.
  6. Negotiate contracts and rates with freight carriers.
  7. Monitor and review transportation costs and suggest ways to reduce expenses.
  8. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to product delivery.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.
