
HR/Payroll Technical Lead
Lowes Foods is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HR/Payroll Technical Lead to join our team and help ensure our payroll and HR processes run smoothly and efficiently. We’re looking for someone with an intimate understanding of HR and payroll processes, systems, and tools. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving skills who can work collaboratively with other departments and employees to ensure accurate and timely payroll and HR data.Required qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience; at least 5 years of experience in payroll and/or HR processes; and experience with HR and payroll systems and tools, including payroll software, HRIS systems, and other relevant software. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of federal and state labor laws, payroll regulations, and compliance requirements; excellent organizational skills; and the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll and HR data
- Ensure HR and payroll processes run smoothly and efficiently
- Provide technical guidance and expertise on payroll and HR processes, systems, and tools
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state labor laws, payroll regulations, and compliance requirements
- Work collaboratively with other departments and employees to facilitate efficient payroll and HR operations
- Utilize payroll software, HRIS systems, and other relevant software to manage and track payroll and HR information
- Analyze and troubleshoot payroll and HR issues
- Develop and document processes and procedures for payroll and HR operations
- Assist with various HR and payroll projects as needed
- Create reports and prepare presentations for management
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity of HR and payroll systems
