Grocery Stocker

Responsibilities of a Grocery Stocker:

• Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks.

• Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.

• Sort, organize, and straighten merchandise on shelves and displays.

• Check for out-of-date items and remove them from shelves.

• Restock merchandise as necessary.

• Operate pallet jacks to move and store merchandise.

• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a courteous and professional manner.

• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Communicate with management regarding out-of-stock items and customer requests.

• Communicate with co-workers regarding merchandise placement and stocking needs.

• Follow company policies and procedures.
