  1. Oversee and manage the transportation operations for all Lowe's retail stores.
  2. Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and streamline processes within the transportation department.
  4. Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate and optimize transportation schedules and routes.
  6. Hire, train, and manage a team of transportation staff, including drivers and logistics coordinators.
  7. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
  8. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of transportation equipment and vehicles.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and carriers.
  10. Implement and monitor performance metrics to track and improve the transportation department's performance.
  11. Oversee budgeting and forecasting for transportation expenses.
  12. Resolve any issues or challenges that arise in the transportation process.
  13. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in transportation technology.
  14. Represent Lowe's in a professional and positive manner when interacting with customers and external partners.
  15. Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation related to transportation operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Transportation Management: A Successful Transportation Supervisor At Lowe's Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Managing Transportation Operations, Preferably Within The Retail Or Supply Chain Industry. This Includes Knowledge Of Transportation Regulations, Safety Protocols, And Route Planning.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Transportation Supervisor, You Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Transportation Associates. A Qualified Transportation Supervisor Should Possess Excellent Problem-Solving Skills To Quickly Address Issues Related To Delivery Delays, Vehicle Breakdowns, Or Customer Complaints.

  • Attention To Detail: With The Responsibility Of Coordinating Multiple Shipments And Routes, A Transportation Supervisor Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail. This Includes Verifying Shipment Accuracy, Tracking Delivery Progress, And Ensuring All Necessary Documentation Is Completed Accurately.

  • Knowledge Of Transportation Technology: In Today's Digital Age, Transportation Technology Plays A Crucial Role In Streamlining Operations And Improving Efficiency.
