Taxonomy Analyst

Responsible for managing and executing all actions associated with product taxonomy management. Supports any initiatives or projects as a subject matter expert for taxonomy needs and is responsible for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) impacting taxonomy. Perform and lead data quality assessments for key data in a specific domain (product, customer, vendor, location, content, etc.) and measure the adherence to the data and content standards. Manages and maintains recurring reporting around all aspects of product taxonomy to provide visibility to leadership. Work with cross-functional teams to capture terms, facets, definitions, and acronyms for taxonomy. May also perform search engine reporting, analysis of query terms, and ensures that the search engine is synced with current taxonomy. Responsible for managing and maintaining controlled vocabulary for Lowe’s product marketing data as well as ensuring collection of the most appropriate product attributes for internal and customer-facing requirements.
