- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to efficiently and effectively acquire products for Lowe's.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing, terms, and conditions for products.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Manage relationships with existing suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Analyze and monitor supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies in order to identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to drive cost savings and maximize value for Lowe's.
- Implement and maintain processes and procedures to streamline and improve sourcing operations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of products at all times.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates on sourcing activities and address any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve sourcing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Train and mentor team members to develop their sourcing and negotiation skills.
- Act as a liaison between Lowe's and suppliers, resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Strategic Sourcing Or Procurement, Preferably In A Retail Or Home Improvement Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Supply Chain Processes And Best Practices.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills.
Ability To Analyze Data And Make Informed Decisions To Drive Cost Savings And Supplier Performance.
