Develops and executes bid processes, supports negotiation, recommendation and selection of suppliers based on cost, service levels and forecasted company growth. Responsible for spend analysis, supplier analysis and business case development for EBIT related savings opportunities and other financial value. Delivers full project updates at key project milestones to that ensure that the Sourcing Manager is fully aware of the project’s status. Maintains project level reporting and inputs in Procurement’s central reporting system. Develops an effective negotiating strategy that is approved by the manager and obtains the best overall value from the supply market. Develops relationships with cross-functional teams including business, finance and legal to ensure that all engagements remain compliant with company regulations. Supports the Sourcing Manager in the development of category strategies and approaches that are aligned to their business customer and responsible for the execution of those strategies.
