Oversee the Margin & Cost Accounting division and ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data.
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures related to margin and cost accounting.
Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and margin improvement.
Monitor and review financial performance against budget and forecast, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Train and develop team members to ensure a high level of expertise and performance.
Lead and manage the team to meet tight deadlines and ensure accuracy of work.
Communicate financial information and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations related to margin and cost accounting.
Identify and address any potential risks or issues within the division.
Develop strategies to improve overall financial performance of the company.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the division.
Provide guidance and support to team members on complex accounting issues.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Margin And Cost Accounting: A Senior Manager In This Role Must Have A Strong Background In Both Margin And Cost Accounting, With A Deep Understanding Of Financial Analysis, Budgeting, And Forecasting.
Leadership Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Accounting Professionals. Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, Are Essential For Success In This Role.
