  4. Maintain thorough and organized documentation of claims, including supporting evidence and communication records.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and legal, to resolve complex or high-value claims.
  6. Mentor and train junior claims examiners, providing guidance and support to ensure consistent and accurate claims processing.
  7. Monitor trends in claims data and provide insights to management for decision making and risk mitigation.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes in policies and procedures related to claims processing.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as insurance companies and legal entities, to ensure efficient and effective claims resolution.
  10. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline claims processing and increase efficiency.
  11. Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  12. Participate in team meetings and provide regular reports on claims processing metrics and performance.
  13. Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints with a high level of professionalism and customer service.
  14. Conduct quality assurance checks on claims processed by junior examiners to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement training programs for claims processing and customer service.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Claims Processing: A Senior Claims Examiner At Lowe's Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Processing Claims, Preferably In A Retail Or Home Improvement Industry. This Experience Should Include Handling Complex And High-Value Claims.

  • Knowledge Of Insurance Policies And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Insurance Policies And Regulations Related To Claims Processing. This Includes Knowledge Of State-Specific Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Claims Examiner Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Claims And Make Sound Decisions Based On Available Evidence. They Should Also Have Excellent Problem-Solving Skills To Handle Challenging And Unique Claims Situations.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Senior Claims Examiner, You Will Be Required To Communicate With Customers, Insurance Providers, And Other Stakeholders On A Regular Basis. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Attention To Detail And Time Management Skills: Claims Processing Involves Handling Large Volumes Of Information And Documentation. A Senior Claims Examiner Should Have Exceptional Attention To Detail And Time Management Skills To Ensure Accuracy And Meet Deadlines.
