
Sales Floor Dept Supervisor - Flooring-Décor

- Oversee the daily operations of the Flooring-Décor department, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
- Drive sales and meet departmental sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies and promoting products and services.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve their goals and provide exceptional customer service.
- Train and develop team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Monitor and analyze departmental sales performance and make necessary adjustments to improve results.
- Ensure a safe and clean shopping environment for customers and employees by enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other department supervisors and store leadership to achieve overall store goals and objectives.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment for team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new products in the home improvement market.
- Manage department budget and expenses to meet financial targets.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Identify and address any operational or staffing issues within the department.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to maintain stock levels and negotiate pricing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Prior Experience In Sales Or Customer Service: The Sales Floor Dept Supervisor Should Have Previous Experience In Sales Or Customer Service, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Lead And Mentor The Sales Team, As Well As Provide Excellent Customer Service.
Knowledge Of Flooring And Décor Products: The Sales Floor Dept Supervisor Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Different Types Of Flooring And Décor Products Offered By Lowe's. This Includes Knowledge Of Materials, Installation Processes, And Current Trends In The Industry.
Leadership And Management Skills: As A Supervisor, This Role Requires Strong Leadership And Management Skills. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Motivate And Inspire Their Team, As Well As Effectively Delegate Tasks And Manage Schedules.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Sales Floor Dept Supervisor Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Both Customers And Team Members On A Daily Basis. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Providing Exceptional Customer Service And Maintaining A Positive Work Environment.
Ability To Meet Sales Targets And Drive Results: The Sales Floor Dept Supervisor Will Be Responsible For Meeting Sales Targets And Driving Results For The Flooring And Décor Department.
