Lowe's is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor for our Electrical and Plumbing department. As the supervisor, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while driving sales and managing a team of associates. Lead and manage a team of associates within the Electrical and Plumbing department to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
Train and develop associates on product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques.
Create and maintain a positive and supportive work environment for team members.
Monitor and track sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to increase sales.
Collaborate with other department supervisors and managers to ensure a seamless and efficient shopping experience for customers.
Maintain a thorough understanding of electrical and plumbing products and stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes.
Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations, and ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment for both associates and customers.
Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure proper product placement and pricing.
Communicate effectively with upper management, providing updates on department performance and suggesting improvements.
Set and maintain high standards for customer service, sales, and associate performance.
Lead by example and motivate associates to achieve individual and team goals.
Assist with scheduling, payroll, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the department.
Attend and actively participate in meetings, training sessions, and other company events.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Knowledge Of Electrical And Plumbing Products: The Sales Floor Dept Supervisor For Electrical And Plumbing At Lowe's Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Various Products In These Departments, Including Their Features, Uses, And Pricing.
Strong Leadership Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Sales Associates, Set Goals And Expectations, And Provide Coaching And Development To Improve Performance.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Supervisor, It Is Essential To Have Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Both Customers And Team Members. The Ability To Provide Exceptional Customer Service Is Also Crucial In This Role.
Previous Retail Or Sales Experience: Candidates For This Position Should Have Prior Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Sales Or Supervisory Role. This Experience Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of The Industry And The Ability To Drive Sales.
Detail-Oriented And Organized: The Sales Floor Dept Supervisor Must Be Able To Multitask And Prioritize Responsibilities To Ensure The Smooth Operation Of The Department. Attention To Detail Is Essential In Maintaining Accurate Inventory Levels And Monitoring Sales Performance.
