Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in the Inside Lawn & Garden department.
Utilize product knowledge and expertise to guide customers in selecting the right gardening products for their needs.
Maintain a neat and organized department by restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring product availability.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's POS system.
Continuously expand knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products, trends, and techniques in gardening.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through effective communication and problem-solving.
Collaborate with team members and department managers to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
Proactively identify and address customer concerns or issues, escalating to management when necessary.
Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe shopping environment for customers and employees.
Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and metrics set by the store management.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Of Lawn & Garden Products: A Sales Associate For The Inside Lawn & Garden Department At Lowe's Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Various Products Sold Within This Department. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Types Of Plants, Gardening Tools, And Outdoor Living Products.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Essential For A Sales Associate In This Role. This Includes Being Able To Communicate Effectively With Customers, Understand Their Needs, And Provide Helpful Recommendations And Solutions.
Sales Experience: Previous Sales Experience Is Preferred For This Position, As The Primary Responsibility Is To Assist Customers With Their Purchases And Increase Sales. A Successful Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Meeting Sales Targets And Building Customer Relationships.
Physical Stamina: The Inside Lawn & Garden Department Can Be Physically Demanding, As It Often Requires Lifting And Moving Heavy Items, Such As Bags Of Soil Or Large Potted Plants. A Sales Associate Should Be Able To Handle These Tasks And Have The Physical Stamina To Be On Their Feet For Extended Periods.
Teamwork: Working As Part Of A Team Is Crucial In A Retail Environment, And A Sales Associate Should Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Their Colleagues. This Includes Assisting With Tasks Such As Restocking Shelves, Organizing Displays, And Helping With Customer Inquiries.
