As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling our wide range of lawn and garden products, and maintaining a clean and organized department. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Promote and sell lawn and garden products to customers, utilizing strong product knowledge and understanding of customer needs.
Maintain a clean and organized department, ensuring products are properly stocked and displayed.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise.
Actively listen to and address customer concerns and complaints, escalating to management when necessary.
Keep up-to-date with current industry trends and product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
Collaborate with team members to achieve department and store sales goals.
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
Provide guidance and support to customers with their gardening and landscaping projects.
Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the company in a positive manner.
Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction metrics.
Act as a brand ambassador for Lowe's, promoting the company's values and mission.
Assist in other departments or tasks as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Of Lawn And Garden Products: A Sales Associate For Inside Lawn & Garden At Lowe's Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Store's Products In This Category. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Types Of Plants, Gardening Tools And Equipment, Fertilizers, And Pesticides.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Essential For A Sales Associate In This Role. This Includes Being Able To Greet Customers, Answer Their Questions, And Provide Recommendations And Advice On Products.
Sales Experience: Previous Sales Experience, Preferably In A Retail Setting, Is Important For A Sales Associate At Lowe's. This Includes Knowledge Of Sales Techniques, Such As Upselling And Cross-Selling, And The Ability To Meet Sales Targets.
Physical Ability: As This Role Involves Assisting Customers With Heavy Or Bulky Items, Physical Ability Is An Important Qualification. A Sales Associate Should Be Able To Lift And Move Items Weighing Up To 50 Pounds And Be Comfortable Working In A Fast-Paced Environment.
