As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a well-stocked and organized department. This role requires a strong knowledge of building materials and the ability to effectively communicate and assist customers with their projects. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their building material needs in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
Utilize strong sales skills to actively engage with customers, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate products.
Maintain a well-stocked and organized department by restocking shelves, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring products are displayed effectively.
Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends in order to effectively communicate with customers and provide informed recommendations.
Meet and exceed sales goals by actively seeking out sales opportunities and upselling products.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient shopping experience for customers.
Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety protocols and procedures.
Continuously strive to improve department and individual sales performance through training and development opportunities.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Of Building Materials: A Sales Associate At Lowe's Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Building Materials And Their Uses, Including Lumber, Hardware, And Construction Supplies.
