As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their building material needs and providing exceptional service.   1. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their building material needs.
  2. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of building materials and their uses to effectively answer customer questions and make product recommendations.
  3. Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and offer solutions to help them achieve their project goals.
  4. Use effective sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell products and services to customers.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all products are properly stocked and displayed.
  6. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's POS system.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current promotions, sales, and product offerings to effectively communicate them to customers.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
  9. Continuously develop product knowledge and sales skills through training and educational opportunities.
  10. Uphold company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and friendly work environment.
  11. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  12. Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the department.
  13. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  14. Participate in regular team meetings and provide suggestions for improving customer service and sales strategies.
  15. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty by providing exceptional service and creating a positive shopping experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Building Materials: A Strong Understanding Of Various Building Materials, Including Lumber, Hardware, And Construction Supplies, Is Essential For A Sales Associate At Lowe's. This Includes Knowledge Of Product Features, Uses, And Applications.

  • Customer Service Skills: A Sales Associate At Lowe's Must Possess Excellent Customer Service Skills To Assist Customers In Finding The Right Products For Their Needs.   • Physical Strength And Stamina: As A Sales Associate At Lowe's, You Will Be Required To Lift And Move Heavy Building Materials On A Regular Basis. Therefore, Applicants Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform Tasks That Involve Standing, Bending, And Lifting For Extended Periods.
