Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Assist customers with their building material needs, providing product knowledge and recommendations.
Promote and sell building material products to customers, utilizing effective sales techniques.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient shopping experience for customers.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and organizing displays.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently through the point of sale system.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to effectively assist customers and make product recommendations.
Meet and exceed sales goals and targets set by the store manager.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty to the Lowe's brand.
Follow all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working and shopping environment.
Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Continuously strive to improve sales skills and product knowledge in order to provide the best customer service.
Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player, willing to assist in other areas of the store when needed.
Represent Lowe's in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Of Building Materials: A Sales Associate At Lowe's Should Have Extensive Knowledge And Understanding Of Different Building Materials Such As Lumber, Roofing, Flooring, And Hardware. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Assist Customers In Finding The Right Products For Their Project Needs.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: As The Face Of The Store, A Sales Associate Should Have Excellent Customer Service Skills To Provide A Positive And Helpful Experience For Customers. This Includes Being Friendly, Approachable, And Knowledgeable About Products And Services.
Sales Experience: Having Previous Experience In Sales Is Essential For A Sales Associate At Lowe's. This Includes Being Able To Identify Customer Needs, Upsell Products, And Close Sales Effectively.
Physical Stamina: Working In A Retail Environment Can Be Physically Demanding, Especially In The Building Materials Department Where Heavy Lifting And Manual Labor May Be Required. A Sales Associate Should Have The Physical Stamina To Handle These Tasks And Assist Customers With Loading And Unloading Products.
