  1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist customers in finding the right building materials for their projects.
  3. Provide knowledgeable and accurate information about products and services.
  4. Offer recommendations and suggestions based on customers' needs and budget.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized department to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  6. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  7. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their purchases.
  8. Continuously learn about new products and industry trends to stay informed and provide the best service.
  9. Meet and exceed sales goals by actively engaging with customers and promoting products.
  10. Assist in inventory management and restocking shelves as needed.
  11. Address and resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Collaborate with team members to ensure overall department and store success.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and loss prevention guidelines.
  14. Attend training sessions and meetings to improve knowledge and skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Building Materials: A Sales Associate At Lowe's Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Various Building Materials Sold By The Store, Including Lumber, Plumbing, Electrical, And Hardware Products.

  • Customer Service Skills: As A Sales Associate, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. It Is Important To Have Excellent Customer Service Skills, Including The Ability To Listen To And Address Customer Needs And Concerns.

  • Sales Experience: Previous Experience In Sales Is Highly Preferred For This Role. A Sales Associate Should Be Comfortable With The Sales Process, Including Identifying Customer Needs, Making Product Recommendations, And Closing Sales.

  • Physical Stamina: This Role Requires Physical Stamina As It Involves Standing, Walking, And Carrying Heavy Items For Extended Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Be Able To Lift And Move Up To 50 Pounds.

  • Communication Skills: Strong Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential For A Sales Associate. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Customers, As Well As With Other Team Members And Managers.
