- Receive and process incoming merchandise and deliveries in an efficient and timely manner.
- Stock and organize merchandise on store shelves and displays according to company standards and planograms.
- Ensure accurate pricing and labeling of merchandise.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain a neat and organized backroom and receiving area.
- Monitor and report any damaged or defective merchandise to management.
- Assist customers with locating and retrieving merchandise as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while operating equipment and handling merchandise.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers and team members.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Lowe's products and services to assist customers with product inquiries.
- Maintain knowledge of store layout and product locations to quickly and accurately stock merchandise.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to safety, inventory management, and customer service.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and changes in inventory to effectively assist customers and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Take initiative to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies with inventory.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding any inventory related concerns or issues.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and cleanliness standards.
- Attend training and development programs to continuously improve job knowledge and skills.
- Other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operations of the store.
Previous Experience In A Warehouse Or Retail Setting: A Receiver/Stocker Should Have Experience Working In A Fast-Paced Environment, Handling Inventory, And Organizing Merchandise. This Will Help Them Quickly Adapt To The Job Responsibilities At Lowe's.
Physical Fitness And Endurance: The Overnight Shift At Lowe's Can Be Physically Demanding, With Tasks Such As Lifting Heavy Boxes, Stocking Shelves, And Moving Large Items. Therefore, A Receiver/Stocker Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Carry Out These Tasks Efficiently.
