Receiver/Stocker - Overnight

- Receive and unpack incoming shipments from vendors and suppliers.
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of received orders and report any discrepancies to management.
- Organize and stock shelves and displays with received merchandise.
- Check inventory levels and communicate with management on any low or out-of-stock items.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area and backroom storage.
- Assist with customer carry-outs and loading merchandise into vehicles.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding inventory and stocking needs.
- Follow all safety procedures and policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with questions and locating merchandise.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to increase knowledge of products and processes.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including inventory management and loss prevention.
- Meet productivity and accuracy goals set by management.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures for receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Adhere to all Lowe's standards and policies, including dress code and attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills: As A Receiver/Stocker, You Will Be Responsible For Receiving, Organizing, And Stocking Merchandise In A Timely And Efficient Manner. Therefore, Having Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills Is Essential To Successfully Complete Tasks And Meet Deadlines.
Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: This Position Requires Frequent Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, And Pulling Of Heavy Objects, Such As Boxes And Equipment. Therefore, Having Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift Heavy Objects Is A Must.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management And Stocking Procedures: A Receiver/Stocker Must Have A Good Understanding Of Inventory Management And Stocking Procedures To Accurately Receive, Label, And Stock Merchandise. This Includes Being Able To Track Inventory Levels And Maintain Organized Stock Areas.
Attention To Detail And Accuracy: Accuracy Is Crucial In This Role, As You Will Be Responsible For Checking And Verifying Incoming Merchandise Against Purchase Orders And Ensuring It Is Stocked In The Correct Locations. Attention To Detail Is Necessary To Catch Any Errors Or Discrepancies In Orders.
Customer Service Skills: While This Position Is Primarily Focused On Managing And Stocking Inventory, Customer Service Is Also An Important Aspect. You May Be Required To Assist Customers With Finding Products Or Answering Questions, So Having Strong Customer Service Skills Is Beneficial.
