Receiver/Stocker - Overnight

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our store is stocked and ready for our customers each day. - Receive and process all incoming shipments and deliveries in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ensure accuracy of received items by checking against purchase orders and verifying quantities and quality.
- Stock and organize merchandise on shelves, racks, and other designated areas according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
- Assist customers in locating products and providing exceptional customer service.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and store merchandise.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Participate in store meetings and training sessions to stay updated on products and procedures.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
- Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by management to meet the needs of the store.
Knowledge Of Store Operations: A Receiver/Stocker Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of How A Retail Store Operates, Including Inventory Management, Stocking Procedures, And Safety Protocols.
Physical Fitness: This Job Requires Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Heavy Merchandise On A Regular Basis, Often In A Fast-Paced Environment. A Receiver/Stocker Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy And Attention To Detail Are Crucial In This Role As Receivers/Stockers Are Responsible For Ensuring That Inventory Is Accurately Received, Stocked, And Organized In The Store.
Time Management Skills: This Position Often Involves Working Overnight Shifts, Which Requires The Ability To Manage Time Effectively And Work Efficiently To Meet Tight Deadlines.
Communication Skills: Receivers/Stockers Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Team Members, Supervisors, And Other Departments To Ensure Smooth Operations And Address Any Issues Or Concerns That May Arise. This Includes Both Verbal And Written Communication Skills.
