- Receive and accurately process incoming shipments, ensuring all items are properly accounted for and stored in designated locations.
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, following planograms and ensuring products are neatly organized and easily accessible for customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized backroom and work area, adhering to safety and inventory control procedures.
- Use equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and store merchandise.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of stocking tasks.
- Assist customers in locating products and providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or low stock levels to management.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve job knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers and team members alike.
Experience In Inventory Management: A Qualified Receiver/Stocker Should Have Experience In Managing Inventory, Including Receiving, Organizing, And Stocking Products In A Retail Setting.
Knowledge Of Lowe's Products: Familiarity With Lowe's Product Offerings Is Important For A Receiver/Stocker, As They Will Be Responsible For Accurately Stocking And Organizing Merchandise Throughout The Store.
Physical Stamina: This Position Requires Physical Stamina, As The Receiver/Stocker Will Be Responsible For Lifting And Moving Heavy Boxes And Merchandise Throughout The Day.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy And Attention To Detail Are Crucial In This Role, As The Receiver/Stocker Will Need To Ensure That Products Are Properly Labeled, Organized, And Stocked In The Correct Locations.
Team Player: The Receiver/Stocker Will Work Closely With Other Team Members, Including Other Receivers, Stockers, And Sales Associates. Therefore, It Is Important For A Candidate To Have Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment.
