- Receive and unload incoming shipments of merchandise, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Inspect and verify all incoming products for quality and condition.
- Organize and stock merchandise on shelves and in designated areas according to company standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory system as needed.
- Communicate with team members and managers regarding inventory levels and restocking needs.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with locating products and answering any questions.
- Assist in the set up and execution of promotional and seasonal displays.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Continuously improve and maintain knowledge of products and services offered.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, loss prevention and inventory control.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Processes, Including Receiving, Stocking, And Organizing Products.
Physical Stamina: This Role Requires Lifting And Moving Heavy Items, So Candidates Should Have The Physical Stamina To Perform These Tasks Consistently Throughout Their Shift.
Attention To Detail: As A Receiver/Stocker, One Must Be Able To Accurately Record And Track Inventory, Ensuring That The Correct Products Are Received And Stocked In The Appropriate Location.
Communication Skills: Strong Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role, As Receivers/Stockers Must Communicate With Team Members, Managers, And Vendors To Ensure The Timely And Accurate Delivery Of Products.
