Job Description

Receive and stock merchandise in a timely and efficient manner.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure all areas of the store are fully stocked.
Maintain a neat and organized receiving area, adhering to safety standards.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or overstock situations to management.
Assist with unloading and verifying incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy of product and quantity.
Utilize inventory management systems to track and account for merchandise.
Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled and priced.
Maintain a high level of customer service, greeting and assisting customers when needed.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns.
Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers.
Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and inventory control.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Utilize equipment and tools to perform job duties safely and efficiently.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
Support other team members and departments as needed to ensure a positive and successful customer experience.

Job Qualifications

Previous Experience In A Similar Role: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Working As A Receiver/Stocker, Preferably In A Retail Or Warehouse Setting. This Experience Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Handle Inventory, Operate Equipment, And Perform Other Tasks Required For The Role.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management: A Receiver/Stocker At Lowe's Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Principles And Procedures. This Includes Knowledge Of Inventory Control Systems, Stock Rotation, And Inventory Tracking Methods.
Excellent Organizational Skills: This Role Requires Strong Organizational Skills To Maintain Accurate Inventory Levels And Keep The Store Shelves Stocked. Candidates Should Be Able To Prioritize Tasks, Manage Their Time Effectively, And Maintain A Clean And Orderly Work Environment.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: This Job Requires The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Items, Stand For Long Periods, And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment. Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Have The Stamina To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Customer Service Skills: As A Receiver/Stocker, Candidates Will Interact With Customers On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Strong Customer Service Skills Are Essential To Provide A Positive And Helpful Experience For Customers. This Includes Good Communication Skills, A Friendly Demeanor, And The Ability To Solve Customer Problems Efficiently.
