- Receive and process incoming shipments of merchandise in a timely and accurate manner.
- Verify and document the quantity and quality of products received.
- Organize and stock merchandise on store shelves and displays according to company standards.
- Ensure the store is well-stocked at all times by monitoring inventory levels and communicating with the inventory team.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move merchandise and stock shelves.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with the management team regarding any issues or concerns.
- Assist in the training of new team members.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Continuously strive to improve efficiency and productivity in daily tasks.
- Adhere to company guidelines and standards for receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
Strong Organizational Skills: A Receiver/Stocker At Lowe's Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively. This Includes Organizing And Stocking Merchandise, As Well As Managing Incoming And Outgoing Shipments.
Physical Stamina: This Role Requires The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, Stand For Extended Periods Of Time, And Navigate Through The Store's Inventory And Storage Areas. Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial In This Position, As A Receiver/Stocker Must Ensure That The Correct Items Are Received And Stocked In The Appropriate Locations. This Requires A Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Carefully Follow Instructions.
Communication Skills: Strong Communication Skills Are Essential For A Receiver/Stocker At Lowe's, As They Will Need To Work Closely With Other Team Members, As Well As Communicate With Customers And Suppliers. This Includes Effective Verbal And Written Communication Skills.
