- Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks.
- Inspect all received items for damages and discrepancies.
- Organize and stock merchandise on shelves and in designated areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies to management.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled and priced.
- Rotate stock to ensure older items are brought to the front.
- Assist with inventory counts and participate in regular inventory audits.
- Keep the receiving and stocking areas clean and organized.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with finding products and answering any questions they may have.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate any inventory or stocking issues to management in a timely manner.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and fellow team members.
- Continuously strive to improve efficiency and productivity in the receiving and stocking process.
Strong Organizational Skills: A Receiver/Stocker At Lowe's Must Be Able To Efficiently Manage And Organize Incoming Shipments And Store Inventory In A Timely Manner.
Physical Stamina: This Job Requires Frequent Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Of Heavy Items, So Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks Consistently.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial In This Role As Receivers/Stockers Are Responsible For Verifying And Tracking Inventory, As Well As Ensuring The Correct Placement Of Products On Shelves And In The Store.
Communication Skills: As A Receiver/Stocker, You Will Work Closely With Other Team Members And May Need To Communicate With Vendors And Customers. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Knowledge Of Safety Protocols: Receivers/Stockers Must Understand And Adhere To All Safety Protocols When Handling Merchandise And Operating Equipment. Candidates With Previous Experience In A Similar Role Or Industry Are Preferred.
