
Receiver/Stocker

- Receive and process incoming merchandise from suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure accurate and timely stocking of shelves and organization of merchandise in designated areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or shortages to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including backroom and receiving areas.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move and store merchandise.
- Assist with unloading delivery trucks and verifying accuracy of delivered items.
- Work with sales associates to ensure merchandise is properly displayed and accessible to customers.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and helping customers locate products.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and customers.
- Collaborate with team members to meet stocking and organizational goals.
- Cross-train in other areas of the store to provide support as needed.
- Communicate any maintenance or repair needs for equipment or facilities.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and store layout changes.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Lowe's to customers and fellow employees.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management: A Receiver/Stocker At Lowe's Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Principles, Including Tracking And Organizing Merchandise, Ensuring Accurate Stock Levels, And Identifying And Resolving Discrepancies.
Physical Stamina: This Job Requires Frequent Lifting And Moving Of Heavy Items, As Well As Standing And Walking For Extended Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Possess The Physical Ability To Handle These Demands.
