As a Receiver/Stocker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our shelves are stocked and our customers have access to the products they need. Receive and unload incoming shipments of products and materials.
Inspect and verify the accuracy and quality of all received goods.
Organize and stock products on shelves and in designated areas.
Ensure all products are properly labeled and priced.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or overstock situations.
Keep track of damaged or defective items and report them to the appropriate department.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including backroom and receiving area.
Assist customers in locating products and providing excellent customer service.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely restocking of shelves.
Follow safety procedures and protocols when handling and storing products.
Operate forklifts and other equipment to move and transport products.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns.
Stay updated on product knowledge and new arrivals to assist customers.
Participate in inventory counts and audits as needed.
Follow company policies and procedures at all times.

Job Qualifications

Experience In Receiving And Stocking Retail Merchandise: This Includes Knowledge Of Inventory Management, Product Placement, And Safety Procedures.
Strong Communication And Organizational Skills: A Receiver/Stocker Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Team Members And Management, As Well As Keep Track Of Incoming And Outgoing Shipments.
Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: This Role Involves Frequent Lifting, Carrying, And Manipulating Of Large And Heavy Objects, So Physical Strength And Endurance Are Important Qualifications.
Attention To Detail: A Receiver/Stocker Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure Accuracy In Receiving And Stocking Merchandise, As Well As Maintaining Proper Inventory Levels.
Familiarity With Equipment And Technology: Familiarity With Equipment Such As Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Handheld Scanners, As Well As Basic Computer Skills, Are Often Required For This Position.
