- Receive and unpack merchandise shipments from various vendors.
- Inspect incoming merchandise for accuracy, damages, and quality.
- Sort and organize merchandise according to Lowe's inventory system.
- Stock merchandise on shelves and maintain proper product placement.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding low stock levels.
- Ensure all merchandise is tagged and priced accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Assist customers with locating merchandise and answering product-related questions.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely restocking of shelves.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or damages to management.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling merchandise.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Continuously learn about new products and promotions to better assist customers.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations, including but not limited to, safety, attendance, and dress code.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: The Basic Educational Requirement For A Receiver/Stocker Job At Lowe's Is A High School Diploma Or Ged. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And The Ability To Understand And Follow Instructions.
Experience In Retail Or Warehouse Environment: Previous Experience In A Retail Or Warehouse Environment Is Highly Desired For This Role. It Shows That The Candidate Has Knowledge Of Receiving And Stocking Procedures, As Well As The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects: This Job Requires The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, Such As Boxes And Furniture. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle Repetitive Lifting And Bending Throughout Their Shift.
