Receive and process incoming shipments of products and materials from various vendors.
Unload and inspect incoming merchandise to ensure accuracy and quality.
Stock shelves and organize products in a timely and efficient manner.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or shortages to management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including backroom and receiving areas.
Follow safety and security procedures to prevent loss and damage of products.
Assist customers with locating products and answering any questions they may have.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and new merchandise to accurately assist customers.
Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organize heavy merchandise.
Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and dress code.
Attend training sessions and meetings to stay informed about company updates and changes.
Continuously seek ways to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Of Inventory Management: The Receiver/Stocker Should Have A Good Understanding Of Inventory Management Processes, Including Receiving, Stocking, And Organizing Products. This Includes Being Able To Accurately Track Inventory Levels And Identify Any Discrepancies.
Physical Stamina: This Role Requires The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, As Well As Stand For Long Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Have The Stamina To Perform Repetitive Tasks Throughout The Day.
Attention To Detail: Maintaining Accurate Inventory Records And Organizing Products On Shelves Requires A Keen Attention To Detail. The Receiver/Stocker Should Be Able To Identify And Correct Any Errors Or Discrepancies In Inventory Levels.
Communication Skills: As A Member Of The Store Team, The Receiver/Stocker Will Need To Communicate Effectively With Colleagues And Customers. This Includes Providing Assistance With Product Location And Answering Questions About Inventory Availability.
Time Management: This Role Involves Working In A Fast-Paced Environment, So The Receiver/Stocker Should Be Able To Prioritize Tasks And Manage Their Time Efficiently. This Includes Being Able To Quickly And Accurately Stock Products During Peak Business Hours While Maintaining A Clean And Organized Work Area.
