
Manager, Strategic Sourcing

- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
- Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent and reliable delivery of goods and services.
- Analyze market trends and industry developments to stay ahead of the competition and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing strategies are integrated into overall business strategies.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of suppliers and vendors to ensure a diverse and competitive supply base.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in sourcing and supply chain management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sourcing processes and increase efficiency.
- Train and develop team members to ensure a high level of expertise in strategic sourcing techniques.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as legal and ethical standards in all sourcing activities.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to drive strategic sourcing initiatives forward.
- Proactively address any issues or challenges that arise in sourcing processes and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
- Stay within budget and achieve cost savings targets set by the company.
- Continuously evaluate and assess supplier performance to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Strategic Sourcing Or Procurement, Preferably In A Retail Or Home Improvement Industry
Strong Understanding Of Supply Chain Processes, Procurement Strategies, And Market Trends
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers And Stakeholders
Experience In Managing A Team And Overseeing Complex Sourcing Projects, With A Track Record Of Achieving Cost Savings And Improving Supplier Performance.
