  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
  4. Design and implement experiments and A/B tests to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  5. Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data science and customer analytics.
  7. Lead a team of data scientists and provide guidance and mentorship to help them develop their skills and deliver high-quality work.
  8. Ensure data integrity and accuracy by establishing and maintaining data governance processes.
  9. Collaborate with IT teams to identify and implement new data sources and improve data infrastructure.
  10. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  11. Foster a customer-centric culture by promoting the use of data to understand and meet customer needs and preferences.
  12. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of data analysis.
  13. Communicate and present data findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  14. Adhere to ethical and legal standards for data collection, handling, and analysis.
  15. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of data models and algorithms, and make necessary adjustments to improve accuracy and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Data Science Or A Related Field: A Lead Data Scientist At Lowe's Should Possess A Master's Or Ph.d. Degree In Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Or A Related Field. This Will Demonstrate A Strong Foundation In Technical Skills And An Understanding Of Data Analytics Principles.

  • Extensive Experience In Customer/Marketing Domain: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience Working In The Customer/Marketing Domain. This Will Include Experience In Customer Segmentation, Marketing Analytics, And Developing Customer Insights.

  • Proficiency In Statistical Analysis And Modeling: The Lead Data Scientist Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Statistical Concepts And Be Proficient In Using Statistical Software Such As Sas, R, Or Python. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing Predictive Models And Conducting A/B Testing.

  • Strong Business Acumen: In Addition To Technical Skills, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Business Acumen And Be Able To Translate Data Insights Into Actionable Business Recommendations. This Includes Understanding The Business Objectives, Identifying Key Performance Indicators, And Developing Data-Driven Solutions To Drive Business Growth.

  • Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Lead Position, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership And Communication Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Manage A Team Of Data Scientists And Communicate Complex Data Insights To Non-Technical Stakeholders. They Should Also Have Experience In Managing Projects And Delivering Results Within Tight Deadlines.
