  1. Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to ensure adequate product availability in stores.
  2. Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to meet customer demands.
  3. Analyze sales data and trends to forecast future inventory needs.
  4. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
  5. Create purchase orders and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.
  6. Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  7. Work closely with store managers to understand their inventory needs and address any concerns.
  8. Communicate with different departments within the company to gather information and make informed decisions about inventory.
  9. Identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory and develop solutions to minimize losses.
  10. Continuously monitor and analyze market trends and competitor strategies to make proactive adjustments to inventory levels.
  11. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
  12. Train and mentor new team members on inventory management processes and procedures.
  13. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
  14. Utilize inventory management software to track and manage inventory levels.
  15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory processes and systems.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Inventory Management Systems: A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Software And Systems Is Essential For An Inventory Planner At Lowe's.
