Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
  2. Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify potential issues and make recommendations for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to maintain accurate and timely delivery of products.
  4. Utilize data and analytics to forecast demand and make informed decisions regarding inventory levels.
  5. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  6. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure data integrity in inventory management systems.
  7. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, logistics, and finance, to ensure inventory levels align with business goals and objectives.
  8. Identify and troubleshoot inventory-related issues and develop solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology advancements in inventory management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  11. Train and mentor team members on inventory management best practices and procedures.
  12. Monitor and analyze inventory metrics and provide regular reports to management.
  13. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and availability.
  14. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
  15. Proactively identify potential inventory risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Inventory Management Principles And Techniques: An Inventory Planner At Lowe's Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Inventory Management, Including Inventory Forecasting, Replenishment Strategies, And Inventory Optimization Techniques.

  • Experience With Inventory Planning And Analysis Software: Lowe's Uses Advanced Inventory Planning And Analysis Software To Manage Their Inventory. A Qualified Inventory Planner Should Have Experience Using Similar Software And Be Able To Quickly Adapt To Lowe's Systems.
