As an In Home Consultant, you will have the unique opportunity to work directly with our customers in the comfort of their own homes, providing personalized solutions and exceptional service. We are looking for someone who is passionate about home improvement, customer-centric, and has a keen eye for design. Conduct in-home consultations with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions.
Utilize knowledge of home improvement products and services to recommend and sell the best options for customers.
Act as the main point of contact for customers during the entire consultation process, ensuring exceptional customer service.
Create and present design ideas and solutions to customers, utilizing a keen eye for design and a deep understanding of Lowe's products.
Maintain a strong knowledge of current industry trends and product offerings to provide the most up-to-date recommendations to customers.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient and effective consultations and customer satisfaction.
Meet and exceed sales goals and targets set by the company.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
Stay organized and manage time effectively to meet all scheduled consultations and follow-up appointments.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the customer experience, providing feedback and suggestions to management.

Job Qualifications

Strong Interpersonal And Customer Service Skills: In-Home Consultants At Lowe's Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Build Rapport With Customers To Understand Their Needs And Provide Appropriate Solutions.
Knowledge Of Home Improvement Products And Services: A Thorough Understanding Of Lowe's Products And Services Is Essential For An In-Home Consultant To Effectively Assist Customers In Selecting The Right Products For Their Home Improvement Projects.
Sales And Marketing Experience: In-Home Consultants Are Responsible For Meeting Sales Targets And Promoting Lowe's Products And Services To Potential Customers. Therefore, Prior Experience In Sales And Marketing Is A Valuable Qualification For This Role.
Ability To Work Independently: In-Home Consultants Often Work Independently, Visiting Customer Homes To Assess Their Needs And Provide Solutions. As Such, They Must Be Self-Motivated, Organized, And Able To Manage Their Time Efficiently.
Technical Skills And Knowledge: In-Home Consultants Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Home Improvement Tools, Materials, And Techniques. They Should Also Be Proficient In Using Technology, Such As Tablets, To Access Product Information And Process Orders.
