
Head Cashier - Flexible

- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the cash registers, ensuring efficient and accurate transactions.
- Train and supervise a team of cashiers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Handle cash and credit transactions, resolve any discrepancies or issues, and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor and maintain adequate cash flow in the registers, making change and replenishing cash as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and resolving any concerns or complaints.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as safety and security protocols.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cash register area.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of customer inquiries or issues.
- Train and coach team members on proper cash handling procedures and customer service techniques.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including balancing cash drawers and preparing deposits.
- Monitor and report on sales and cashier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for increased efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers to provide a positive and welcoming environment.
- Adhere to all company and legal policies and regulations regarding cash handling and customer privacy.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce wait times.
- Handle any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by management.
Previous Experience In Cashiering Or Retail Management, With A Minimum Of 2 Years In A Supervisory Role.
Strong Customer Service Skills And The Ability To Handle Difficult Customer Situations With Tact And Professionalism.
Familiarity With Cash Handling Procedures And Basic Accounting Principles.
Ability To Work A Flexible Schedule, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team Of Cashiers.
