- Handle and document any voids, returns, or exchanges accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures as needed.
- Continuously strive to improve and streamline checkout processes for a better customer experience.
- Attend and participate in team meetings and trainings as required.
Previous Cashier Experience: A Head Cashier Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Cashier, Preferably In A Retail Or Customer Service Environment.
Strong Customer Service Skills: The Ability To Provide Exceptional Customer Service Is Crucial For A Head Cashier. They Should Have Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills To Handle Customer Inquiries And Complaints Effectively.
Leadership Abilities: As A Head Cashier, One Must Be Able To Lead And Motivate A Team Of Cashiers To Provide Efficient And Accurate Service. They Should Be Able To Delegate Tasks, Train New Cashiers, And Handle Any Issues That May Arise.
Cash Handling Skills: A Head Cashier Should Be Proficient In Handling Cash, Credit And Debit Transactions, And Using A Cash Register And Other Related Equipment. They Should Also Have Experience With Balancing And Reconciling Daily Cash Receipts.
