  1. Oversee the daily operations of the store's cashiers, ensuring efficient and accurate checkout processes.

  4. Create and maintain schedules for the cashier team, ensuring appropriate coverage during peak business hours.
  5. Monitor and maintain cash registers, ensuring cash and credit card transactions are processed accurately.
  6. Conduct cash audits and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
  7. Collaborate with other store leaders to ensure a smooth and seamless shopping experience for customers.
  8. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity in the cashier department.
  9. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety and security protocols.
  10. Communicate effectively with both customers and team members, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  11. Handle any escalated customer complaints or issues, working towards a satisfactory resolution.
  12. Stay updated on all store promotions and sales, ensuring cashiers are knowledgeable and able to accurately apply discounts and coupons.
  13. Conduct performance evaluations for cashiers, providing feedback and coaching for improvement.
  14. Keep track of cashier inventory and order supplies as needed.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and customer service.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Cash Handling And Management: A Head Cashier Should Have A Strong Background In Managing Cash Transactions, Including Balancing Registers, Counting Cash Drawers, And Processing Payments.

  • Knowledge Of Lowe's Systems And Procedures: Previous Experience Working At Lowe's Or A Similar Retail Store Is Preferred For This Role. A Head Cashier Should Be Familiar With Lowe's Systems And Procedures, Including The Point Of Sale System, Cash Handling Policies, And Store Closing Procedures.
