- Oversee the daily operations of the front-end team, including scheduling, cash handling, and customer service.
- Ensure efficient and accurate cash handling procedures are followed by all team members.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to provide exceptional customer service and meet performance goals.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cash and change, communicating any discrepancies to management.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-end area for customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Monitor and report on team performance, providing regular feedback and making recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other store departments to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions to effectively assist customers and drive sales.
- Lead by example, maintaining a positive attitude and fostering a team-oriented work environment.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Strong Customer Service Skills: A Head Cashier At Lowe's Should Possess Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To Both Internal And External Customers.
Cash Handling Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Cash Handling Experience, Including Processing Transactions, Balancing Cash Drawers, And Using Point-Of-Sale Systems.
Leadership Abilities: As A Head Cashier, One Must Be Able To Lead A Team Of Cashiers And Ensure That All Cashiers Are Following Company Policies And Procedures.
Knowledge Of Retail Operations: Familiarity With Lowe's Products And Services, As Well As The Ability To Navigate The Store And Assist Customers With Their Needs, Is Essential For This Role.
