  1. Conduct data analysis and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions for the Store Inventory team.
  2. Develop and implement statistical models and forecasting techniques to optimize inventory management.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, supply chain, and finance, to understand business needs and identify data-driven solutions.
  4. Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and improve processes related to inventory management.
  5. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis and reporting.
  6. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior management.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data science, and apply them to improve processes and drive business growth.
  8. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of inventory management processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Lead and mentor junior data analysts and scientists, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  10. Collaborate with IT and other relevant teams to develop and maintain data infrastructure and tools for data analysis.
  11. Proactively identify opportunities for optimization and cost-saving in inventory management processes.
  12. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  13. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies and regulations.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on data science and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
  15. Represent the Store Inventory team in cross-functional meetings and discussions, advocating for data-driven decision-making.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Data Scientist For Store Inventory At Lowe's Should Possess Advanced Analytical Skills To Interpret Large Sets Of Data, Identify Trends, And Make Data-Driven Decisions.
