Safely and efficiently operate commercial motor vehicles to transport merchandise to customers' desired locations.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of the vehicle.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and customer signatures.
Handle merchandise with care and utilize proper loading and unloading techniques.
Provide exceptional customer service by delivering merchandise in a timely and respectful manner.
Communicate with customers and store team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both inside and out.
Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate parties.
Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
Represent the company in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction.
Attend training and development programs to maintain and enhance driving skills.
Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Keep up-to-date with any changes in traffic laws or company policies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate delivery schedules.
Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic, even in challenging driving conditions.
Demonstrate a commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.
Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): A Cdl Delivery Driver At Lowe's Must Possess A Valid Cdl, With The Appropriate Endorsements For The Type Of Vehicle They Will Be Operating.
Clean Driving Record: The Candidate Must Have A Clean Driving Record, With No Major Traffic Violations Or Accidents In The Past Three Years. This Is To Ensure The Safety Of Themselves, Other Drivers, And The Company's Merchandise.
Experience In Delivery Or Trucking: A Cdl Delivery Driver Should Have Prior Experience In Delivery Or Trucking, Preferably In A Retail Or Distribution Setting. This Will Ensure That They Are Familiar With Safe Loading And Unloading Procedures, As Well As Navigating Different Road And Traffic Conditions.
Physical Fitness: The Job Of A Cdl Delivery Driver Can Be Physically Demanding, Involving Lifting And Carrying Heavy Items And Being On Your Feet For Extended Periods. Therefore, The Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks Comfortably.
Customer Service Skills: As A Delivery Driver For Lowe's, The Candidate Will Be The Face Of The Company To Many Customers. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Customer Service Skills And Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Customers, Both In Person And Over The Phone.
