Safely and efficiently operate a commercial delivery vehicle to transport Lowe's products to customers' homes and businesses.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle.
Load and unload products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department.
Provide exceptional customer service, acting as a representative of Lowe's during all interactions with customers.
Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and address any potential issues or delays.
Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
Act as a brand ambassador for Lowe's, representing the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Continuously strive to improve delivery processes and procedures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Attend training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to delivery operations.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, delivery, and customer service.
Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, both inside and out.
Other duties as assigned by the Delivery Manager or other members of management.

Job Qualifications

Valid Cdl License: A Cdl Delivery Driver At Lowe's Must Possess A Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) For The State In Which They Will Be Operating. This License Is Required To Operate A Vehicle With A Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (Gvwr) Of Over 26,000 Pounds Or To Transport Hazardous Materials.
Clean Driving Record: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Clean Driving Record With No Major Violations Or Accidents In The Past Three Years. This Ensures That The Driver Has A History Of Safe And Responsible Driving Practices.
Experience Driving Large Vehicles: It Is Important For A Cdl Delivery Driver To Have Experience Driving Large Vehicles, Such As Box Trucks Or Tractor-Trailers. This Experience Ensures That The Driver Is Comfortable And Skilled In Handling A Variety Of Vehicles, As Well As Navigating Through Different Road And Traffic Conditions.
Physical Fitness: This Job Requires Physical Stamina And Strength, As Drivers May Have To Load And Unload Heavy Items From The Truck. Candidates Should Be In Good Physical Condition And Able To Lift Heavy Objects With Ease.
Customer Service Skills: A Cdl Delivery Driver At Lowe's Will Interact With Customers During Deliveries, So Strong Customer Service Skills Are Essential. This Includes Being Friendly, Helpful, And Professional In All Interactions, As Well As The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Customers And Store Personnel.
