Operate a commercial motor vehicle in a safe and compliant manner, following all traffic laws and company policies.
Load and unload delivery trucks with materials and products in a timely and efficient manner.
Plan and navigate delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to customers.
Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management to provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues that may arise.
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation, including delivery logs, invoices, and customer signatures.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns to management.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the company and building strong relationships with customers.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve delivery processes and provide feedback to management for potential improvements.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
Maintain a clean and organized truck, keeping it well-stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance job skills and knowledge.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting and exceeding delivery goals and expectations.

Job Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): The Candidate Must Hold A Valid Cdl With The Appropriate Endorsements For The Type Of Vehicle They Will Be Operating.
Clean Driving Record: A Clean Driving Record With No Major Violations Or Accidents Is Essential For A Cdl Delivery Driver At Lowe's. This Ensures The Safety Of The Driver, The Company's Vehicles, And Other Drivers On The Road.
Experience In Commercial Driving: Prior Experience In Commercial Driving, Especially In A Delivery Or Logistics Setting, Is Preferred. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge Of Safe Driving Practices, Ability To Navigate Different Routes, And Familiarity With The Rules And Regulations Of The Road.
Physical Fitness: Cdl Delivery Drivers Are Required To Load And Unload Heavy Merchandise, Drive For Long Hours, And Perform Physical Tasks Like Pushing, Pulling, And Carrying. Therefore, Physical Fitness And The Ability To Lift Heavy Objects Are Important Qualifications For This Role.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Representative Of Lowe's, The Cdl Delivery Driver Must Have Excellent Customer Service Skills. This Includes Being Courteous, Professional, And Helpful When Interacting With Customers While Delivering Their Orders.
