As a CDL Delivery Driver at Lowe's, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in pristine condition. We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused individual with a valid CDL license and a proven track record of safe driving. Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle to deliver products to customers' homes and job sites.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations while driving.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in proper working condition.
Load and unload products onto the delivery truck using proper equipment and techniques.
Plan and organize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
Verify accuracy of delivery orders and ensure products are delivered in pristine condition.
Provide exceptional customer service by being courteous, professional, and helpful during deliveries.
Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and address any questions or concerns.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately to the appropriate parties.
Collaborate with store associates to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient loading of products.
Keep delivery truck clean and well-maintained, reporting any maintenance needs to management.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, especially regarding customer service and safety.
Continuously strive for improvement in delivery processes and customer satisfaction.
Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

Valid Cdl License: A Cdl Delivery Driver At Lowe's Must Possess A Valid Class A Or Class B Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) Issued By The State In Which They Will Be Working.
Clean Driving Record: Candidates Must Have A Clean Driving Record With No Major Violations Or Accidents In The Past Three Years.
Experience With Delivery Vehicles: Previous Experience Driving Large Commercial Vehicles, Such As Box Trucks Or Flatbed Trucks, Is Preferred. Familiarity With Navigating And Operating Delivery Vehicles In Different Types Of Weather And Road Conditions Is Also Important.
Physical Ability: The Job Of A Cdl Delivery Driver At Lowe's Requires Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift And Carry Heavy Items, Such As Appliances And Building Materials.
Customer Service Skills: As A Representative Of Lowe's, The Cdl Delivery Driver Must Have Excellent Customer Service Skills And Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Customers And Store Personnel. This Includes Being Able To Handle Any Delivery-Related Issues That May Arise In A Professional And Courteous Manner.
