- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle to make deliveries to customers' homes or job sites.
- Load and unload products onto the delivery truck in a safe and organized manner.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies and procedures while driving.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery and log records.
- Communicate effectively with customers and store personnel to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Ensure the proper handling and care of all products during the delivery process.
- Report any delivery or product issues to the appropriate supervisor promptly.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery truck and report any issues or maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Assist with other duties as needed, such as loading and unloading trucks at the store or warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck and work area.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
- Continuously strive to improve delivery processes and procedures for increased efficiency.
- Uphold the company's values and standards at all times.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): A Cdl Delivery Driver At Lowe's Must Have A Valid Cdl Issued By The State In Which They Will Be Operating.
Clean Driving Record: Candidates Must Have A Clean Driving Record With No Major Violations Such As Duis Or Accidents Within The Last Five Years.
Ability To Operate Delivery Vehicles: Candidates Should Have Experience Operating A Variety Of Delivery Vehicles, Including Box Trucks, Flatbeds, And Stake Trucks.
Physical Stamina: The Job Of A Cdl Delivery Driver At Lowe's Can Be Physically Demanding, Requiring Lifting, Carrying, And Loading Heavy Items. Candidates Must Be Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job.
