Asset Protection Agent

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Security Professional to join our team as an Asset Protection Agent at Lowe's. This position requires a customer-oriented individual who is passionate about loss prevention and asset protection. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with the ability to handle difficult situations, maintain a calm demeanor, and interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner.The successful Asset Protection Agent will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for customers and team members. The Asset Protection Agent will demonstrate a keen eye for detail and be able to recognize suspicious activities or people. To be considered for this position, candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience in the security or asset protection field. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is also required.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor surveillance equipment and observe customer and employee behavior to detect and deter criminal activity in the store.
2. Respond to all security incidents, including apprehending shoplifters, documenting and reporting incidents, escorting disruptive persons off the premises, and securing the scene as needed.
3. Investigate and document violations of company policies or procedures and follow through to ensure compliance.
4. Create and implement asset protection strategies to prevent and reduce losses due to theft or fraud.
5. Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and team members by monitoring and patrolling the premises.
6. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and provide excellent customer service.
7. Respond to customer inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner.
8. Stay current with applicable laws, regulations, and procedures related to security and asset protection.
9. Maintain records and logs of all security incidents and investigations.
10. Provide security support to store personnel as needed.
