As an Asset Protection Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers, employees, and company assets. Monitor store premises and identify potential security threats or risks.
Enforce company policies and procedures to prevent theft, fraud, and other illegal activities.
Conduct regular security checks and audits to ensure the safety of customers, employees, and company assets.
Respond promptly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies.
Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement effective security strategies.
Utilize surveillance systems and other security equipment to monitor and record activities in the store.
Investigate and document any suspicious or criminal activities, and assist in the prosecution process if necessary.
Train and educate store employees on security procedures and protocols.
Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and law enforcement personnel.
Maintain accurate records and reports of all security-related incidents and activities.
Stay updated on current security trends and techniques to continuously improve security measures.
Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor at all times when interacting with customers and employees.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations in the workplace.
Work closely with other departments to ensure a safe and secure shopping experience for all customers.
Perform other duties as assigned by store management.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: A Successful Asset Protection Agent At Lowe's Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques And Strategies, Including Surveillance, Apprehension, And Inventory Control.
Experience In Security And Investigation: Candidates For This Role Should Have Experience In Security And Investigation, Either Through Previous Employment Or Relevant Education. This Includes Knowledge Of Cctv Systems, Alarm Systems, And Conducting Investigations.
Strong Communication Skills: Asset Protection Agents Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Both Customers And Team Members. This Includes Handling Difficult Situations With Customers And Providing Clear And Concise Reports And Updates To Store Leadership.
Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Crucial For An Asset Protection Agent. This Role Requires Monitoring And Reviewing Surveillance Footage, Identifying Potential Risks, And Conducting Thorough Investigations.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: Asset Protection Agents May Be Required To Stand, Walk, And Move Around The Store For Extended Periods, As Well As Lift And Move Heavy Objects. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
