Identify and prevent potential risks and losses to the company's assets through surveillance, monitoring, and investigation.
Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of customers and employees.
Conduct thorough audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with store management and other departments to address and resolve security issues.
Respond promptly and professionally to any security-related incidents, including emergencies, accidents, theft, and vandalism.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security-related activities and incidents.
Continuously monitor and analyze security trends and make recommendations for improvement to management.
Train and educate store employees on security protocols and procedures.
Work closely with law enforcement agencies and participate in investigations as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving any security concerns or issues raised by customers or employees.
Stay updated on current security technology and make recommendations for its implementation.
Proactively identify and address potential security vulnerabilities and risks.
Assist in the scheduling and coordination of security personnel.
Handle and safeguard sensitive and confidential information.
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity at all times.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Of Security Protocols And Procedures: An Asset Protection Agent At Lowe's Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Security Protocols And Procedures To Ensure The Safety Of The Store, Its Employees, And Its Assets.
Experience In Loss Prevention: A Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Includes The Ability To Identify And Prevent Theft, Fraud, And Other Security Threats.
Strong Communication Skills: As An Asset Protection Agent, One Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Employees, And Law Enforcement Personnel. This Includes The Ability To Write Detailed Reports And Communicate Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.
Familiarity With Cctv Systems And Other Security Equipment: Lowe's Uses Various Security Equipment, Including Cctv Systems, To Monitor The Store. A Candidate Should Have Experience Operating And Troubleshooting These Systems.
Physical Fitness And Ability To Handle High-Stress Situations: Asset Protection Agents At Lowe's May Be Required To Stand For Long Periods, Patrol The Store, And Respond To Emergency Situations. Therefore, Physical Fitness And The Ability To Remain Calm And Focused In High-Stress Situations Are Important Qualifications For This Role.
