Monitor and safeguard the store's assets, including merchandise, equipment, and property.
Implement and enforce loss prevention policies and procedures.
Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of the store to identify potential security risks.
Respond to and investigate any security incidents, including theft, property damage, and safety hazards.
Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and management regarding security concerns and incidents.
Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor while interacting with customers and employees.
Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement strategies to prevent theft and minimize loss.
Utilize security systems and technology to monitor and track potential security threats.
Prepare and submit detailed reports on security incidents, investigations, and overall store security.
Stay updated on current industry trends and advancements in loss prevention techniques.
Conduct employee training on security protocols and procedures.
Assist with store audits and inventory checks to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Follow company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain the highest level of integrity.
Continuously strive to create a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees.
